Dapper-
adjective
neat and trim in dress and
appearance.
"he looked very dapper
in a dark silk suit”
A lot of blogs are run by
bloggers who were once ordinary people with a wicked cool sense of fashion and
taste in clothes. Style that can be called "over-the-top" and a bit
more than what ordinary folks are used to, they travel the world and attend
fashion shows in hubs such as Milan, Paris or New York and may forget what
everyday people in South Africa can truly afford. Granted not all blogs are
written by 20-something females with an unhealthy obsession with Kauai
smoothies or selfie obsessed guys who spend way too much time friend-zoning
themselves.
This blog is different in a
number of ways, firstly, the author knows just about as much as any other bloke
about things such as "haute", "couture" or any other word
that other fashion crazy people tend to use. This is a blog by a simple author
with a relatively simple fashion sense and great style. It is not difficult to
understand the latest fashion to put it simply "fashion is what you buy,
style is what you do with it". All the hotshots and fashion bigwigs
already tell us what to buy by lining our shops with what's trending and we buy
it.
This blog isn't just
focused on telling you how to dress, you should be able to do that yourself.
This blog is about telling you how to stylishly dress for that special
occasion, how to wear a suit, which colours should be worn together and so on.
Last but not least is that
this is a "real" blog. It is kept simple. I understand that things
are different in our country so we add our own spice to fashion. Sometimes
clothes and fashion can be expensive so I am giving my readers an opportunity
to buy clothes from respectable online and retail stores and advice on how to
get everything for less.
I will be giving away
vouchers, discount codes and free giveaways every now and then. If you have
read all of this here is a treat for you, click on this link and sign up to
